Dr. Catherine Tan completed her O.D. degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and received her B.S. degree in Biochemistry from U.C. San Diego. In the course of her career, Dr. Tan has acquired a great deal of experience fulfilling the diverse needs of many patient populations across the United States. She has worked with underserved populations in Bethel, Alaska, provided LASIK co-management at the American Eye Institute, performed speciality contact lens fittings at Dr. Jay Schlanger's office in Los Angeles, and worked extensively on geriatric eye pathologies at the Connecticut VA hospital.
Dr. Tan has been caring for patients in the Murrieta area since 2004. She continues to stay current on all aspects of modern optometry, attending major conferences nationwide and investing many hours into her own continuing education. In her leisure time, Dr. Tan enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys Taekwondo, music, and photography.
